How will my child get to camp?
There will be transportation provided for campers to get to and from camp via coach buses. The buses will leave from two separate locations in Boston, and drop off campers at the end of camp in the same location. We will update you as camp gets closer as to exactly where the bus locations will be!

What are meals like?
All meals will be served cafeteria-style, with all of our campers and staff eating together at one time. Our service counters allow us to serve a variety of food at each meal. In addition, all lunch and dinner meals offer large salad bars. At all meals, the Food Service Director at Eagle Hill can always find a substitute for even the pickiest of eaters. Counselors will also sit in the dining room and provide the supervision needed to make mealtime an enjoyable and social occasion three times a day.
What is a typical day at camp?
We believe that children flourish when given autonomy within a structured environment. Each day, campers will attend a mix of required activities and elective activities; some team-building activities and events will involve all campers, while ‘Elective periods’ are times of the day where campers can choose from a list of activities such as water sports, swimming, basketball, arts and crafts, soccer and more. While our goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere for all campers throughout each camp day, we of course always know exactly where everyone is at all times.
Will my child need to bring money, and is there anything to spend money on at camp?
Your child will not need to bring any cash. There will be snacks provided on the bus to and from the campsite at Eagle Hill, and there are no vending machines on site at camp.
What is a cabin like?
All of the cabins at Eagle Hill have wood frames, modern construction, and house either one large group of campers or two smaller groups of campers. Each cabin is complete with porches, full bathrooms, an attic fan, carbon monoxide and smoke detector, fire extinguisher, windows and screens, and its own hot water heater. All campers sleep in brand new single wooden beds; all bedding will be provided. In each cabin, there is ample space for the storage of clothing and camper belongings. All cabins include their own bathrooms, which consist of four sinks, three private showers, and three private toilet facilities.
What is a cabin group like?
Each cabin group consists of approximately eight to ten campers coming out of the same grade in school. Two counselors will work with each group. Counselors will work with the group during the day, and will sleep with the group in the cabin at night. Counselors will dine with their group and spend the majority of their day with their group. Campers will spend part of the day with their cabin group, and part of the day with other campers during Elective Periods.

No, Bunk22 does not have any affiliation with a particular religion, and offers no services or programming specific to any particular religion. Our campers have a variety of religious backgrounds, and we believe that our diversity is our strength.
What if my child gets sick or injured?
Our site - Camp Eagle Hill - has a state of the art Infirmary building that is staffed by medical professionals 24 hours a day. Where a child becomes ill or injured, a camp counselor will escort the child to our camp Infirmary where most problems that arise can be easily managed. Where an illness or injury exists that can best be cared for by a physician, we will bring your child to a local medical practice where they can be seen by a physician. There are two hospitals within 10 miles of camp, each of which houses large emergency facilities.
How will my child communicate with me?
At Bunk22, our hope is to foster a newfound sense of independence for our campers. Therefore, we encourage campers to refrain from making phone calls home during their short stay with us. However, campers may speak with their parents on an as-needed basis, and calls must be scheduled ahead of time through our camp office. Cell phones are NOT permitted at camp.
What if my child needs a prescription?
Any medication that your child needs, both prescription and non-prescription, will be stored at our camp Infirmary. All medication will be dispensed by one of our medical professionals. If your child needs to take their medication throughout the day, we will work with you ahead of time to set up a time to dispense medication to your child.
Who are Bunk22 counselors?
The incredible counselors at Bunk22 are trained professionals who work across all different sectors in their everyday lives, predominantly as educators and administrators in schools. Each staff member has a passion for working with students and a deep desire to create more equitable opportunities for all children.
What should my child pack for camp?

What if I can’t afford items on the packing list?
